We have our popular karaoke evenings every Friday night from 9.00pm. Also there is a busy general knowledge quiz every Tuesday evening from about 9.15pm.

Our very successful pub pool and skittles teams play on Thursday nights, with the skittles being played on our own floodlit outdoor alley.

Wednesday nights are our 'Pub Games' nights. Currently this is 'Snakes & Ladders', where every drink or round of drinks you order at the bar you roll the dice and move the counter on the giant 'Snakes & Ladders' board.
Every time the counter lands on square 100, you get that drinks order for free.

The Hop is also well renowned for having great live music most Saturday nights. Ranging from slow acoustic sessions, sixties bands and talented rock musicians there is something to suit all tastes.
